The Greater Montrose Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2020 when local entrepreneur and business owner, Tonya Maddox, gathered a dozen of engaged business leaders to discuss the need for Montrose County businesses to have a collective voice and advocacy after the 130+ year old Montrose Chamber of Commerce was dissolved in 2018.
Three years later, the Greater Montrose Chamber of Commerce boasts a membership of 80 small, medium and global businesses with local headquarters. Each week the Montrose Business Times will compile the happenings of the Chamber.
