To benefit the Colorado Disability Funding Committee, members of Colorado’s Star Wars fandom have an opportunity to bid for the rights to 14 official Colorado license plate configurations with Star Wars themes. Among those are plates with phrases like “Anakin,’ “MRVADER,” and “OB1WAN.”
The online auction (bit.ly/44xdhp4) started at 8 a.m. on May 4 and runs through Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m.
All proceeds will support the Colorado Disability Funding Committee, which provides grants to support disability application assistance and programs that provide Coloradans with disabilities the resources they need to thrive.

Auction participants can bid on die rights to use select configucoloradopiates. ration of letters and numbers on their Colorado license plate or have the ability to purchase a novelty plate and retain the exclusive rights to use the configuration on their Colorado license plate at a later date. The buyer also has the rights to resell the configuration through the Colorado Disability Funding Committee in the future. Individuals are responsible for paying all standard registration fees, a personalized plate production fee, and any additional fees for a designer background, including the 4 historic backgrounds that are now available and also benefit the Colorado Disability Funding Committee, if they do not want the standard white and green license plate.
The 2022 auction raised over $10,000 and featured ‘JEDI” which sold for $1,600 and proceeds went to the Colorado Disability Funding Committee. Graphics of the license plate configurations in this auction can be found in diis folder.
