Montrose Regional Health and Peak Performance Therapy recently announced the hospital’s acquisition of Peak Performance Therapy, PC, a physical therapy clinic located in Telluride, Colorado.
Peak Performance Therapy has been seeing patients in the region for 26 years. Beginning July 29, Peak Performance Therapy, PC will be owned by Montrose Regional Health and will continue practicing under a new title – Mountain View Therapy Peak Performance.
“Genuinely, it has been an honor and privilege to serve the Telluride community as the owner of Peak Performance Therapy for the last 26 years,” Mr. Campbell said. “I look forward to continuing practicing physical therapy with the same quality of care with Mountain View Therapy of Montrose Regional Health.”
Mark Campbell and his staff will continue practicing at the clinic, located at 300 West Colorado Ave., Suite 2B and will be treating their existing patients who wish to receive uninterrupted care. These patients will need to sign a Request for Medical Records Form before July 29, when ownership will be transferred to Montrose Regional Health. Montrose Regional Health’s acquisition of Peak Performance Therapy is the result of a mutual agreement between the hospital and Peak Performance Therapy to continue offering quality, affordable care to the Telluride region. Due to various economic challenges, Peak Performance Therapy would have been required to stop accepting insurance and move to a private pay model if he maintained ownership – a decision which he felt would have been detrimental to many of his patients. This change in ownership means that the new Mountain View Therapy Peak Performance clinic will continue to accommodate patients with Medicare, Medicaid, Colorado Workman’s Compensation, and commercial insurances.
