A planned restaurant on Tuesday received approval for a liquor license.
Montrose City Council unanimously approved the license sought by Richard and April Fitzgerald, owners of the restaurant.
The concept for the restaurant, which they are calling Endless Pastabilities, is to serve Italian food.
“We’ve always had a dream to have a restaurant, and we’ve had a passion for Italian food, but we have a passion for better Italian food at a good cost and rate,” Richard said to city council.
The business owners also plan to have a stage at the restaurant for musical performances, karaoke and other entertainment.
“We have a stage that we’ve built into the back of the restaurant and potentially,” Richard said. “We want to be a spot that encourages youth and anyone that’s a musical enthusiast to come and play.”
The restaurant will be located at 1544 Oxbow Dr. Ste. 198, the former home of the Rio Bravo Mexican restaurant.
According to their Facebook page, they plan to open next month.
