Elevate Internet has announced All Points Transit as the recipient of its $10,000 Foundations for the Future Grant.
“At Elevate we obviously focus a lot on strong connections, but not all those are through our fiber network. We’re just as committed to making sure our members and communities are connected to the resources, programs, and services that make their lives better,” said Elevate CEO Jack Johnston. “We put this belief in action through our Foundations for the Future Grant.”
Elevate’s 2025 Foundations for the Future Grant program dedicated $10,000 to support an organization that improves the quality of life for senior citizens. Eligible applicants could focus on any aspect of senior life, including the arts and sciences, education, health and wellness, or basic needs.
“We had an incredibly competitive pool of applications, but All Points Transit stood out. Their public transportation services do more than just help seniors get to medical appointments or run errands. On a deeper level, they foster independence, mobility, and social connections—key ingredients for enhancing quality of life and ensuring long-term well-being,” emphasized Johnston.
All Points Transit operates in four counties on the Western Slope whose mission is to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for all. It provides both public transition and scheduled rides, with approximately 83% of their passengers being older adults or those with disabilities.
“We are deeply honored to receive this grant from Elevate Internet, as it represents a vital investment in the independence and mobility of our senior community members. At All Points Transit, our mission is to provide a transportation system that emphasizes safety, reliability, and accessibility, fostering independence and enhancing community connections. This grant will directly support our vision of building a strong, vibrant community by providing more than just a ride. Reliable transportation allows not only seniors but also the general public to meet essential needs and to stay engaged, empowered, and connected to their communities,” said Gary Clark, Executive Director of All Points Transit.
