To celebrate 50 years of sales and service, Turner Auto is holding a free community event for the public.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, Turner will have music by Neon Sky and will provide food and beverages for everyone in attendance. The event will last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can even stop by and enter for your chance at winning a free lease on a new Chevrolet Blazer EV.
There have been four generations of Turners in the auto business, with the fifth training to take over.
Ross Turner, owner of Turner Automotive, recently welcomed his son, David, back to Montrose to train to take over the family business.
The roots in Montrose go back to 1974, when Dick Turner, Ross’ father, saw that the Hahn Chevrolet dealership was for sale in Montrose.
They moved here, bought the dealership and started the legacy that still lasts to this day.
You can read more about them and their story in the last pages of this week’s publication, which you can find here. Also included is how the leadership at Turner Automotive has more than 200 years in the car business.
