Homestead will reopen March 9 at 647 E. Main St., in the church building across from Crash Burger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will be open and ready to serve you, with a better location in town and more room to offer a little more inside the store,\u201d the company said in a statement announcing the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New store hours beginning March 9 will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The relocation comes about 14 months after Homestead Natural Meats acquired Kinikin Processing in December 2025, expanding its footprint in the local meat processing market. The acquisition combined two established area operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Homestead said the new storefront offers more space and a more central location for customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Homestead Natural Meats has operated in Montrose for years, offering locally sourced meats and processing services.
