$5,000 grants were awarded to: Common Ground Montrose; Magic Circle Players; Maslow Academy of Applied Learning; Montrose Medical Mission; Second Chance Humane Society; Sharing Ministries Food Bank; and Valley Symphony Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$3,000 grants were awarded to: Hoof & Paw Inc.; River Valley Family Health Center; Uncompahgre Combined Clinics; and West End Public Schools \u2013 Nucla Early Learning Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$2,500 grants were awarded to: All Points Transit; Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club; Hispanic Affairs Project; LFMG Music Academy; MADA; Montrose Center for Arts; Montrose Children\u2019s Museum; Partners of Delta Montrose Ouray; PrimeHealth+; Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid; West End Family Link Center; and West End Schools RE-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$2,000 grants were awarded to: Community Options, Inc.; Faultless; Haven House of Montrose, Inc.; Montrose County Historical Society; National Inventors Hall of Fame; and Valley Food Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$1,500 grants were awarded to: Hilltop Community Resources, Inc. and Valley Youth Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
$1,000 grants were awarded to: Arrowhead Nordic; Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition; PEER Kindess; and Weehawken Creative Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A $500 grant was awarded to Ouray Mountain Rescue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual grant program supports a wide range of community initiatives, with recipients including nonprofits, schools and grassroots groups working to improve quality of life for residents and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A reception was recently held to recognize the grant rcipients. Funding for the awards was made possible through contributions from private donors as well as support from the City of Montrose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Foundation leaders said the grants are intended to strengthen programs that address critical community needs and expand access to essential services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Community Impact Grant program is offered once each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
