Randy Houser Benefit Concert

The Alpine Club, Telluride’s first fully private, on-mountain club, is proud to announce a benefit concert featuring country music artist Randy Houser with opening act by singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson and Colorado-based, indie-folk duo LVDY on Friday, July 17, 2026, in support of the Telluride Foundation. Held at the iconic Sheridan Opera House, the intimate performance will raise money for the foundation’s Good Neighbor Fund, a critical resource supporting local residents facing financial hardship. The one-night-only concert will mark Houser’s first time taking the stage in Telluride, bringing together community, philanthropy and world-class entertainment, including hits such as How Country Feels, Runnin’ Outta Moonlight and Like A Cowboy.

The Telluride Foundation, which has provided support to local organizations for more than 25 years, established the Good Neighbor Fund in 2003 to offer emergency financial assistance to local families and individuals with limited resources. The fund provides grants up to $2,500 per applicant annually, helping cover urgent needs including rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, food or other essential expenses. Available to those who live or work in San Miguel County, Ouray County, the West End of Montrose County or Rico, the Good Neighbor Fund has become an essential support system for the region.

Developed by family-owned club operator Southworth, in partnership with longtime Telluride residents Scott and Lauren Woodward, The Alpine Club is slated to open in summer 2027 within a stunning 26,000-square-foot property at San Sophia Station. The club will deliver curated experiences, elevated amenities and unparalleled access at 10,540 feet. The benefit concert represents one of The Alpine Club’s many ongoing contributions to the community, reinforcing its commitment to supporting and enriching the cultural and social fabric of Telluride beyond its club offerings.
