Voters in the City of Montrose will choose new city council members in three races during the April 7 municipal election, according to the city’s certified ballot.
In City Council District I, three candidates are running for a four-year term: Kevin Clay, Michael J. Badagliacco, and April Heard.
In City Council District II, voters will select one candidate for a four-year term from Rachel Betancourt-Ege, incumbent Ed Ulibarri and Ryan Sedgeley.
Voters will also elect one councilor to an at-large seat without district residency requirements for a two-year term. Candidates in that race include incumbent Judy Ann Files, Kendall Cramer, Greg Cairns, Sam Aster and Adam Woodden.
The election will determine representation for Districts I and II, as well as one at-large council seat on the Montrose City Council.
Keep an eye out in the MBT for candidate profiles leading up to April.
