News Release | Montrose Regional Health

Montrose Regional Health’s annual Blood Draws and Health Fair returns Aug. 1-8, offering affordable blood testing, free health screenings, and trusted local healthcare resources for community members across Montrose County. For more than 37 years, the event has helped thousands of people gain valuable insights into their health at reduced costs.

Online registration is encouraged for all locations via montrosehealth.com/healthfair to reduce wait times and streamline check-in. Walk-ins will not be accepted Aug. 5 or 6.

Participants can choose from a variety of discounted laboratory tests, including the popular HealthScreen Panel, which provides a broad overview of key health indicators, as well as cholesterol and cardiovascular screenings, blood sugar testing, thyroid testing, PSA screening, vitamin testing, hormone testing, and more. The annual event provides an opportunity to identify potential health concerns early, often before symptoms develop.

The annual program includes blood draw opportunities at multiple locations throughout the region:

• Saturday, Aug. 1: Blood Draws, Ridgway Event Center (7-10 a.m.)

• Monday, Aug. 3: Blood Draws, Olathe High School Gym (6:30-9:30 a.m.)

• Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 5-7: Blood Draws, Montrose Pavilion (6:30-9:30 a.m.)

• Saturday, Aug. 8: Blood Draws & Health Fair, Montrose Pavilion (6:30-11 a.m.)

The free Health Fair will take place Saturday, Aug. 8, from 6:30 to 11 a.m. at the Montrose Pavilion. In addition to affordable blood testing, the event will feature free screenings for oral cancer, skin cancer, and hearing health, along with wellness booths, health information, giveaways, and opportunities to speak directly with healthcare professionals.

MRH extends sincere thanks to its 2026 Health Fair sponsors: Alpine Bank, Elevate, Mountain West Insurance, and TEI Rock Drills.

For those participating in blood draws, a 12-hour fast is recommended. Participants should drink plenty of water and take medication as usual. Those using hormone creams or hormone sublingual tablets should not apply or take them on the morning of their blood draw.
